Rafael Juste Castán, a Doctor in Medicine and Pharmacy specialised in Ophthalmology, created one of the first Spanish firms devoted to manufacturing pharmaceutical speciality products and raw materials. In its early years, the company specialised in ophthalmological products.
Upon the decease of Rafael Juste Castán (1924), his widow, Inés Buil Cambra, took over the Presidency of the Company, while Luis Juste Buil and Matilde Juste Buil were appointed Directors.
