In 1963 Rafael Juste Sesé joined the Company.
The company prepared its first contrast medium, which was to be followed by a long series of products that would, over the years, help JUSTE, S.A.Q.F, attain a solid position in the radiological contrast medium market. During this decade JUSTE, S.A.Q.F. placed strong focus on this product line, actively pursuing all the Research and Development (R&D) activities in radiological contrast media, which are still ongoing at present.
The company started manufacturing other raw materials, including ferrocolinate and contrast media. Juste began manufacturing anaesthetics for dentistry using proprietary R&D products.
The plant for the production of contrast media on an industrial scale was inaugurated. Industrial manufacturing of contrast media got under way.
